Well, desert sun and temps are hard on things, but smog is hard on things
too. Rubber deteriorated on my 1600 in Burbank at an amazing rate!
Rubber seems more stable here in south Texas where it's hotter and colder
than LA, but the sun is more intense, being further south. Now Vinyl and
plastic... that's another kettle of fish! And shortly after moving here
from LA, half the glue let go in the car! Watch out for bare legs on
black vinyl seats in AZ...OWIE!!
