Hello All,
I seem to have misplaced thr weird split in half kinda spring
loaded tapered nut thingy that slipw onto the steering shaft andn that the
stock steering wheel slides onto sorta. The taper is to kkeep the wheel
centered. My after market steering wheel won't fit with this taper nut on(the
nuts too long). But
I need the taper to keep the wheel aligned on the shaft. Are these things some
thing that you can buy anywhere?? If I can find mine do you all think that I
could just chuck it up in a lathe and turn it down a bit to work with the
aftermarket steering wheel?? I gots wobbly steering wheel and it I would
like to cure it.
