I don't think it'll fit without hacking the tranny tunnel pretty
severely. The slushbox is likely too wide (I have one in
the shed that I can measure, if you wish).

Buz in Modesto did a sweet conversion using a KA24 backed by
the stock automatic. He had to hammer out the tunnel to pick up
a touch more clearance, but he got it in there :-)
