The drums on roadsters (the later ones, anyway) are aluminum.  POR 
would seem to be overkill. What about some hi-temp paint from Autozone 
or some such place?  If you're painting the calipers in place, POR 
might gum things up.  If you're removing them, knock yourself out ;^)
