We have recently purchased a TR3B that has the original factory TR4
transmission. The car is popping out of gear. Before i have my local mechanic
start anything on this, I would like some advice from you more experienced FOT
members.
1. The mechanic thinks this is a problem with the syncros....does that sound
right to you?
2. Is replacement of the syncros straightforward or does it need a specialist
?
3. If it is the syncros, any recommendations on replacement sources ?
4. What is the cost of a replacement TR4 transmission ?
5. If I need a specialist, any recommendation down here in or near the San
Diego ?
