I think all this fooforah has been healthy!
As I remember it the FOT was founded on the basis that the formost
rule was... there were no rules... I think our "saving grace" is our
lack of organization.
As the odd "non-racer very occasional autocrossn'" member, I get an
awful lot from most exchanges. You've all helped, in your way,
to make my TR4 "sreet rod" more reliable/fun. You've given me a
glimpse of what it takes to keep the flame burning. I've learned a
lot of history in the process. The stuff that don't apply I ignore or
delete.
Hell, if the FOT needed a motto (which smacks to me the beginnings
of too much organization), it would have to be Groucho Marx's line "I
wouldn't want to join any organization that would have me as a
member."
