I cannot confirm this possibility...

Well, I can tell you that with 4.88's in a 23 inch-tall-slick-shod TR6
first gear is good for about 10 feet tops, even on a steep incline!

Yeeee-ha!

Given a choice, I'd opt for the 4.55 or possibly 4.30 setup. 87 MPH in top
gear (no O/D) at 6500 RPM's is too slow for most road courses!

Well, wouldn't Mayflower parts be _more rare_ than some odd big TR parts?

Seems to me they would be.

Brad, you have too many cars.

There, someone had to say it.

;-)

rml
1974 TR6 (driver)
1973 TR6 (autoxer)
1972 TR6 (sawzall bait)
1969 TR6 (almost as bad as the 72)
1984 Chebby G10 Van (tow vehicle - eeeegahd!)
1994 Saturn SL2 (daily driver and substitute race car)
(yes I have too many cars too. And there's only one driver in MY house!)
