In aerospace we have an expression...... with enough thrust (horsepower?) 
even a brick can be supersonic.......surely this explains those quick 
TR3's?.....smile.

 While my avocation is vintage racing a TR3, my vocation is that of a mason 
 contractor.  In my opinion, the TRIUMPH TR3 has all of the areo-dynamics of 
a 
 brick.
