I helped mine a little bit by arranging for it to also have some support from 
the
top to help calm the shake.  In my case, using the IO Port, it was mounted to 
have
the top of the camera against the roll bar.  I added a small pad of a rolled up
shop rag to give it just a little bit of compliance.  Then mashed it pretty
tightly up to the bar.  It's still not Speedvision but better than it was.
