Greetings
Keeping in mind that "Big Daddy" Don Garlits lost half a foot to
an exploding clutch, I use a 3/16 steel scattershield that completely wraps
the above-floor part of the transmission and extends 12" back from the
firewall. Weighs about 9 lbs but offers peace of mind.
