Personally I see it not as an issue with any driver/team but more as an SCCA
issue. You guys that have been around the club for awhile will remember back
in late 70s & into the 80s when they were doing the class consolidation
thing & were whacking off one prod class a year until so many folks
complained that they put the program on HOLD. I see it as now coming back in
a different form, they're just railroading the prod cars out. The cost to
stay competitive is what has run a lot of competitors off & into more
affordable classes. Can't really blame SCCA either because the old brit
manufacturers are no more so no support $$, contingencies, etc. SCCA is not
a "club" anymore either, SCCA INC. is the name now. Times change & Triumphs
just keep getting faster......
