That's one of those things that easier to measure directly. I'd spin it at
the RPM you want to run at and see what it takes.
There are simulations that can do that.

I've been doing some pondering of late and wonder if anyone has measured
the
horsepower required to run our typical race cams? I'm wondering what
forces
are acting on our chains, do we really need the dual chain, what size belt
could we use, how much can we lighten the sprockets, etc, etc... I can
measure the torque to roll it around but lack the mathematics to
develop a formula accounting for RPM. Anybody have a rule of thumb, a WAG
or
a genuine method to calculate it?
