Yeah, I'm going to do the regional on Sunday in my Radical. It's the same
weekend as the Sovern Spring Fling, which always includes a great party at
Tony Garmey's house (combat Xtreme Croquet--you've got to play it to
understand it)and a lot of "I will NEVER drink again" pledges the next
morning. Hate to miss it, but I promised the wife that I'd put on a Tux and
go to the Boys and Girls Aid society Black and White Ball. Shit.
So I can't even do the National on Saturday. I was looking forward to
getting my ass kicked by the Storhs. theoretically my 160hp motor is
supposed to be done. We'll see if I have enough asmbition to swap motors
before next weekend. I know everyone else has them, but I can make up the
30HP difference with smoothness and pure skill (right!). So far I haven't
managed to find enough time to replace the chain I broke last race last
year. Maybe I should just take Peyote out and do the Vintage grid. At least
I wouldn't be scared spitless at the entrance to turn 9 every lap.
