FOTsters,

Sam Halkias runs a dry sump in his TR6 (don't remember which class),
something which I have been thinking about for my car. Unfortunately, the
front chassis cross-member prevent me from dropping the block, which is one
of the many excellent reasons for scavenging the oil.

Shane Ingate, back in Maryland and an 80 degree garage.

PS. Went to Carlisle yesterday. As usual for Import & Kit Car day, it
rained in the morning and fined to a bleedin' hot day. Saw Jack Drews and
ran off with all sorts of good booty. Used Triumph stuff was in abundance,
and was probably the majority of stuff for sale. There was a small turnout
of Triumphs, perhaps the most interesting for me was a gorgeous BRG TR4 with
Surrey top and Rover V8 with C4 which looked as though it came from the
factory. Never saw the owner, but hats off to a really nice conversion.
