Yep. What used to be Armistice Day here was renamed Veterans Day to honor 
vets of all wars and peacetime too.

US Naval Reserve, 1958-68, AcDu 1959-61 Guam. Hon. Discharge as AG2 
(weatherman 2nd class)
Dad was WWII, also on Guam, and reserves for 30 years, retired as Captain.
Grandad (maternal) was Navy on the USS Nevada in WW I -- communications 
officer. I have three teletypes he saved announcing the armistice.
