I've not used a Judson, but I did try a similar unit that used the stock
coil. It's basically just a "points amplifier" with a high-output coil.
Somewhat better than the stock setup, but mostly in the area of easier
starts and better operation with "tired" plugs. Might buy you a bit more
performance at top rpm where the points are just starting to float (but my
valves floated before the points did).
I'd sell it on eBay, and use the money to buy an optical trigger unit plus a
MSD box.
