Got it.
I think what both Jack and the test I referred to found, was that head
flow was the limiting factor at least for Triumphs. V8's are certainly
another story.
I'm running a fully ported head with greatly reduced valve guides and
profiled 5/16" SS valves. It will be interesting to see what results we
get. I'll make a full report next spring.
