Oh ya! I forgot to tell everyone that we added 10.7 HP on the dyno after
installing the vacuum SYSTEM.

I was told if you could pull 5in. you could expect up to 4HP per cylinder.
Some
racers run so much vacuum
they have to reverse the seals to prevent air from being pulled into the
block.
One of our local speed shops has a GM, electric vacuum pump from a cobalt or
something they say will pull between 5 & 8 in. They want $ 300.00 for it.
Until
budgets improve I have gone with the exhaust extractor
set up to pull the vacuum on the catch tank to act as an oil seperator.
