Yeah I'm not going to those revs without a forged crank. I spec'd my cam for my 
current rev range too so this motor is more or less built to 
the limitations of the crank. I'll probably have one for the next build.

So, just to put the cat amongst the pigeons....

I run the standard Bastuck ratios with a 4.3 Salisbury LSD with the Southwick 
conversation. Gear change light at 6750, limiter set to 7250, full steel engine 
on a 87mm engine delivering 197bhp at the flywheel.
