I suspect air is going into, rather than out of, the vent at the base of =
the windshield since that is usually a high pressure area (NASCAR =
engineers began taking engine induction air from that location many =
years ago). Tape a 4=E2=80=9D piece of string there to watch which =
direction the air flows.

My alum radiator (50x50cm x 8cm) developed a very small leak but it =
would only happen when the thing got up to temp. It was very hard to =
find. You might also try changing caps. If it is not in the cooling =
system I would look at the ducting and airflow out from engine =
compartment. It could be a simple situation of to much air getting in =
and not enough getting out at high speed to maintain flow.
