The only real downside I have heard about having multiple clubs is worse
parking at the Monterrey Historics. Maybe there are a few other situations
like this.
As James Lea suggest maybe a consolidated club or consortium of clubs for
very limited purposes when the Healey world wants/needs its clout/voice to
be as big as possible would be a good compromise.
I don't see a pressing need to merge an conslolidate, it is not as if this
is the British Car industry in the 60s, where we won't be able to compete
with the rest of the world without achieving some economies of scale. I
also don't think anybody wants to create Britsh Leyland of Healey Clubs in
any event.
In other words this is not a business or businesses that need to be
efficient to make a profit or survive, the clubs are run for fun/pleasure
and if people are having that they are working.
