Rafael-a few comments about your issues. I coming from a different=0Apla=
ce by assuming that the cone clutch is ok.=0AFirst, what oil is in the g=
earbox and transmission?-only use 30W NON=0Adetergent-all others will fo=
am...especially with the addition of heat.=0AWhen the OD was rebuilt- th=
ere are two sets of springs of the 8...4=0Aare 4-1/4" and 4 are 4-1/2" t=
he longer springs must go to the outside=0Aand the shorter to the inside=
of the cone structure. If the springs=0Aare coil bound from misuse-repl=
ace them. If they are reversed the=0Apressure to hold the clutch in dire=
ct drive is not sufficient.=0AThe overdrive must achieve at least 400lbs=
of pressure at all times in=0Ause. The low numbers indicate an accumula=

tch slippage=0A=0A=09Hi all, =0A=0A=09Last year I requested your help re=
garding a strange overdrive or=0Aslippage problem I have in my 1962 Tric=
arb BT7. =0A=0A=09I received very valuable comments and suggestions but=
sadly the=0Aproblem persists: Overdrive would not activate under any ci=
rcumstances=0Aand when the engine / transmission is warm and we engage r=
everse, the=0Aengine revs but the car won=C2=B4t move. =0A=0A=09There is=
slippage somewhere in the transmission / clutch or=0Aoverdrive. When th=
e car is cold, reverse engages without any issues.=0AThis only happens i=
n reverse gear after the car has been driven a few=0Amiles and the engin=
e and transmission are warm. Forward gears engage=0Aall the time without=
any issues. =0A=0A=09The car has been recently restored. Before the res=
toration the=0Aoverdrive was operational. Now it=E2=80=99s not. =0A=0A=
=09The transmission and overdrive have been taken apart and assembled=0A=
twice looking for something visually wrong. Everything seemed to be=0AOK=
. =0A=0A=09The clutch and plate were also removed for inspection. The cl=
utch was=0Arecently redone, adjusted and tested. =0A=0A=09A friend sugge=
sted we should verify the oil pressure on the=0Aoverdrive. On this link=
you will find a couple of videos of a test we=0Ahave recently done with=
a manometer installed on the overdrive to=0Acheck the oil pressure at d=
ifferent RPM=C2=B4s. =0A=0A=09=0A[1]https://www.dropbox.com/sh/t5p8kqz6v=
6yduyt/AADizyVMyBKPozy284B-udA4a?dl=3D0=0A[2] =0A=0A=09The pressure on 3=
rd and 4th gears goes up to 400 psi and drops as it=0Agoes to lower gear=
s. At idle is between 150 to 200 psi =0A=0A=09In forward gears the car r=
uns fine; the problem that we need to solve=0Ais that the overdrive woul=
d not activate(even though it is connected=0Aand everything seems visual=
ly OK) and the slippage we have when=0Aengaging reverse (the car won=C2=
=B4t move) when the engine / transmission=0Ais warm. =0A=0A=09We are loc=
