Altered drivers,

This question is primairly for those driving altered's, and I'm pretty
sure I can guess the answer, but it's a good discussion topic. I want to
try some experiments with the USS Wankel, which is now a Gas Coupe, in the
Altered class... which oughto give me aerodynamics almost identical to a
cinder block.

With the entire front end of the car blocked off with flat plates and an
air dam nearly to the ground what is the most efficient way to keep the
engine cool? I was thinking water tank, but that doesn't seem to be allowed
in the Modified rules. Anybody have acceptable results circulating air from
within the engine compartment through the radiator with electric fans?

To complicate matters even further for me I've got a full 1/3 of the
rotary engine's cooling provided by the oil cooler, so I have to move air
through it as well. That's a lot of heat to try to get removed without a
great deal of air circulation. Can the oil cooler be relocated (under the
rear of the car?) as long as the radiator stays up front? Any suggestions?
