When anyone talks about a cheap, fun, car I think of the three cylinder
Chevrolet Turbo Sprint. "Salt Peanut" Ron and Ellen Christensen ran in 1995.
 They set Bonneville records in four classes with that car.  The records
still stand.  Ron has painted the speeds and the four classes they set
records in on the hood of the car with the speeds totalled to 420 plus miles
per hour.  The car was too slow for the 130 Club.  The fastest time was
111.513.  It was inexpensive to buy.  I think the class entries and changes
were a large part of the racing budget.  The fun part was it went fast for
what it was and they enjoyed setting four records with it.  Isn't that what
we all want?  Ron is on the list and can correct my memory of things where
it is faulty.
