We ran 152 MPH at Bonneville, over the old record but Norm Thacher had
already raised it to 164. Turned 139 at the lakes, 119 at the half mile at
riverside and 112 with a 12.45 ET at the drags. All we changed was the rear
end gears and tires, ran the stock cast iron headers and all.  I think the
"Ramcharger" option on the 62 was $650. That car was the most fun, I bought
it from my brother in 64 and it was a family driver till 1970. My first wife
still talks about blowing off a Willys coupe on Fairfax Blvd. on her way to
work.
