I think you may have misread the statement on the spoilers in the MS
section -
It says "air dams and spoilers, as defined... are allowed" the
definition on page 39 does not say anythin about modified sports
requiring factory spoilers -
wings must be OEM in MS and the definition of a wing is also on page 39

I will gladly defer to the experts (like Dan Warner) but I've been
around the Modified Sports cars at El Mirage enough to know that they
don't run factory spoilers.
