to me !!!
On our first trip to Bonneville in 1987, Darrell and I joined a group
of 40 or 50
people at " the end of the road " one evening when " Double Deuce " Dan
Hostetter put on a slide show featuring pics from the dry lakes and previous
Speedweeks . The show was followed by a great session of rodding and racing
yarns and stories, and I will always remember that as one of the best
times I
had in many years of being in around hot rodding and drag racing , and that
is
over half a century now .
We have plenty of time left to plan a real neat Racegab and Memory
Lane
Get Together , and hopefully it might become an annual sidelight to both
Speedweek and the USFRA events , and suggestions for time , place , etc.
are open to all ............ comments, anyone ???
