Just received word that one of our fellow racing family members passed
away. Moose McCauly only spent a few years in the land speed family but
was as devoted as any old timer. When he joined the Gear Grinder car
club a few years back it bacame an instant love affair. He was the big
guy that controlled the staging lanes at the lakes and at Bonneville the
last three years. Services are Friday at 1:00 PM at the Fairhaven
Memorial Cemetary in Santa Ana, Ca.
He was a good friend to all and we will miss him at the races this year.
