Geeeze an' all I ever wanted wuz jus' ONE hat.....

Seriously Keith, I could'nt agree with you more.

Personally, I think this list has had a whole LOT to do with the
upsurge of LSR popularity of late....-wether it be an article about you
personally, the ECTA, EL MIRAGE, or the THE HOLY GROUND,...it all has helped
sow the seeds of interest. And all this chatter every day helps keep
everyones interest at a high level as you said.

This list IS awesome -as Dick J so ably pointed out. Honest to
God, it makes me PROUD to tell people I'm a HOT RODDER.

I too have learned MUCH. and I've been foolin with noisy, smelly,
whizzin'things of all kinds for over 40 years now.....

There is perhaps the best,-most densely packed talent pool here on
this list of anything anywhere in the counrty. I'd bet my entire life
savin's that dam close to ANYTHING mechanical could be figured out by those
here on this list. It's almost scary. -'cept' for the fact that "we're
all on the same side" ;-)

I really enjoy reading of the exploits of those of you lucky enough to
be racin.' Those of us that can't, -or are "stuck" in a situation we'd
rather not be in, can at least live a bit of La Dolce Vita through those of
you who CAN get out there. so whatever you guys do, Don't stop writin'
-'cause we're countin' on ya' for a "full report" Often I copy and paste
from the list, -you know,"the juicy stuff" to friends that are not on the
list to see if I can "bait them" into becoming interested enough to want to
join it, because as I see it, the more the merrier.....

-fair nuff ?

Hey we got Collegggg work ta do I gotta go! -Dirty Doug

Doug... What is New about Land Speed Racing is the ability of fellow racers
to communicate with each other on a regular basis.

I have followed this sport in Hot Rod and other Pub's for years.... but to
get Daily doses is something entirely New... and very special... it aids in
maintaining a daily focus on our goals out there on the Salt...

Look Closely at what DickJ said about what he learned... in a Short Year....
Lucky Dick for finding this E-mail list... and Good for us in that we now
have another Racer to replace some of the folks that have accomplished thier
goals and moved on...

the continueing publicity in Publications makes for wonderful reading and
keeps folks like Dick Dreaming....

Thanks for letting me know where it was... now I can go buy those Mag's to
go with the Other Stacks...

Keith Turk ( sans Red Hat this Year... oh well Maybe Next!!!)( gots me a
Cool Blue one though and a Neat Green one...)
