Early last season I had rolled the bearing's out of the C Motor while we
were racing it... didn't see any appreciable wear.... well this morning I
was about done cleaning up and decided to check them over once again and do
a Leak Down on it... Well one of the bearing's had a Flake of what looked
like Chrome sitting in the middle of it.. I think I could see where the
bearing had started to lift a bit and this was the peice that came out...
not a scratch on the crank and I feel pretty comfortable that a new set of
bearing's will take care of it... Just thought I would pass along the
thought.... Might have just saved myself an engine by checking it...
