Let me tell you about Chris and Ed. First it took a long time to get Chris
on the list, but will be worth the wait. Chris and Ed save my butt every
year at speed week by being my eyes and ears at the far end. They are always
right on top of everthing happening down there when no one else has
responded. Anyone that has had a problem knows and the first on scene are
Chris & Ed.
It seems as soon as you get to the end of the road coming on the salt you
are greeted by the two of them. The next time you see them they are giving
you your speed and a glass of water.
If you are in trouble they are there with the fire x and a glass of water.
You can tell by their smiles you did well on the run. When Chris captures
you on her camera it's the real moment. I don't know how this lady has the
time to make copies for everyone, plus get on the internet and do all of the
other things she does as well. Super Chris and Ed. You bet.
I would find it very difficult to do the timing thing without their support.
They are special and I tell them so. There is lots more about these two but
the longer you know them the more you will love them as part of our racing
family. If I could pick a brother or sister they would be on the top of the
list.
