Do what I said. Just wire the welder into your
laundry room dryer circuit. Don't use it when
your wife is drying laundry. Tell her it's an
"Electrical Energy Consumption Reduction
Transformer", and that it will get the drying
done quicker and use less electricity. She'll
kiss you for it.
