There are plenty of other organizations that have
the "minumum speed (read money)" rule
 NHRA or Winston Cup
its open to "anyone"

They are fun to watch and keep up with,
but we have had a darn tough time, (my 5 year
old an I), getting our vehicle qualified in one
of those venues
