List, Just heard on the news that the results of the investigation on
the death will not be released till fall. They did say that the seat
belt did not have anything to do with the death. Now if they are not
done with the investigation how can they say that the seat belt is not
the cause? I think NASCAR is covering up something and not telling the
truth. I have been lied to by NASCAR time after time since 1964 when I
first was a member so this is nothing new. NASCAR owns the race track
and the association where the death occurred. If someone with integrity
like Gary Nelson looks me in the eye and says the belts had nothing to
do with the death, then I will believe it. But if NASCAR says it or Mike
Helton I don't think I will ever believe it for sure. Something was
wrong because the crash was not that severe.
