We just have experience pushing a dragster to about 40 mph to start it in the
"old daze" but we learned that, if not designed right, it can be a dangerous
way to go. Make sure you do have enough width to stay on the car's push bar
and that it cannot "ride over" the push bar or get locked up. I had a vertical
"T" bar on the car and a 36" wide 1" tube horizontal on the truck. It always
worked well. I can fax you a drawing if you need one.

Okay Folks.... Brad and I fired up the Mule today and went throught the
gears on the six speed.... all seems well... now we are up to the push
bar... I have a Front Hidden Vally Reciever hitch for the front of the
truck.... much past that I am lost....

How wide are these things supposed to be .... what are the war stories
associated with trying to Push the car out to the starting line.... About
how far from the bumper should it be? How many ways can I mess this up?

Okay time to tell all....

Keith.... ( been a long PRETTY day in nowhere Alabama... just a nice day to
futz about on a hot rod and a Pal.... )
