Glen Deeds built a 4 wheel drive roadster in the early eighties that has been
grandfathered. It has been told that the engine in that car makes 1500+, but
i was sworn to secrecy. He built the transfer case himself with the help of
Clide Sturdy. It has been work'in for years, just replaced the bearings in it
last year at the salt.
