I have now seen the light. I never even looked at the stuff I bought
originally, yep, cast acrylic. I have now ordered real polycarbonate, Lexan,
from a supplier in CA. NOT cheap, though. But I got it an an airplane
specialty shop and that is prolly why so expensive. Thanks to all who helped
me "see" the light.
