DrMayf, list:
I've been following this topic for awhile now (partly because my LSR team leader
posed a similar question to me). I haven't responded because I assumed that the
little I know about the subject is probably known to everyone else on the list,
as well. Also, my browser was unable to find the DrMayf website when I clicked
the addy given, so I still don't know how deep you guys are getting. But here I
am wondering if maybe someone could benefit from some very basic info:

On the landspeed website, click...
    Links
        Technical Links
            Racing Secrets
Aero Drag [in the menu on the right]
                    "Aerodynamic Drag", by Paul Haney

Or, you should be able to get there directly by keying in
www.insideracingtechnology.com/tech102drag.htm

This is a repeat of info Paul Haney presented in his book Inside Racing
Technology. I remember something very similar from undergraduate studies--
certainly from a fluid dynamics class, and probably our from wind tunnel lab
experiments. (I wonder if Dr. Plapp would approve of LSR--??)

Anyway, maybe this will be useful to some folks. I'm still looking forward to
what you come up with, DrMayf!
