I looked back through the SAE papers on the Goldenrod and it appears to me
(I could be wrong) that the "frontal area" is 8.53 square ft. Approximate
dimensions are 48" x 28" (at front wheels) in the back it was narrower but
taller as the cockpit melded into the tail fin. It has a CD of .1165.

The SAE report is interesting reading.

Another interesting car is the Woomera at http://www.lsr500.com/index.htm

Regards, Tom
