  Meanwhile back in the USA ,Harry Miller was building the rear engined Indy 
500 cars for Gulf Oil. Just noticed in the Miller Dynasty that they all had 
disk brakes in 1939. The book has a great overhead shot of one of these 
supercharged sixes on a dyno. Bob in connecticut
