Just a question for the list. Way back, I guess before WWII, perhaps after,
did'nt the lakes racers run on Harper Dry Lake? If so why is it no longer in
use? I understand what happened to Rosamond and Rogers with the Air Force
and all, but don't know the story with Harper. Were there any other dry
lakes that were used years ago?
