Wes, I have to feel very blessed. In my short time LSR ( 9 years ) I had the
privilege to meet and talk with Noland White, Jim Feuling and Don Vesco.
Was pitted next to Noland at Bonneville a couple years back. Got to talk
about
lots of things. Remember his smile and twinkle in his eye.
Feuling's shop was an hour and a half south of me. My friend did some work
for
him and told him about my car. He said " Have him bring it down, I'd like to see
it". I took it down to his shop and he spent over 2 hours showing me ideas and
things on his streamliner that I might be able to use on my car. Just one racer
to
another.
We had our car on display at the hot rod reunion next to Don's. I asked him
a
million questions and he showed me everything that I asked about. He even took
part
of the body off to show me some things.
So yes, I have been very blessed to have able to spend time with three of
the
best.
They were a racers racer. Doug
