Haven't been connected much lately but your last post
caught my eye. Saw a note about plans for a different engine using
pieces more suitable for 5 liter stuff. You mentioned Dave and another
guy, whose heads you intend to use, as the engine builders. Makes sense
to me. I think we are guilty of using good parts, whose sum, seem to
lack a harmonious whole. We have been able to make enough power to get
the job done but had we been a little more intelligent in our selection
of parts we might have run much faster.
What other changes do you have in store for the Camaro? It
seems to be ready to go as is to me. Sorry to hear that it might be
living on borrowed time. All passes, but will you feel satisfied if for
some reason you are unable to set a record in the old Girl? On the other
hand, the "Bugger" project is really cool.........
