Okay I have a need to make some parts out of fiberglass. I have the
originals made out steel, but they are way to heavy. In looking at the parts
they aren't very irregular shapped or compound curves. My thoughts were to
use the orginals as a plug and use liquid expanding foam to make a mold. Now
here is where I get lost. What do I need to do to finish the foam surface to
start laying up fiberglass? Once the the part halves are pulled from the
mold I would just bond the halves together.
