I've got a fair amount of cutting to do, way more than for a
hacksaw, and enough that I'm not even happy about using my
reciprocating saw. All steel, 1020 and maybe a little 4130.
Anyone have any experience with band saw type cut off saws?
What about putting a metal cutting blade on my electric miter saw?
I could use a cutting torch, or (new toy time) I could consider
(boy those guys are expensive) one of the new plasma cutters.
But, only on a good recommendation from the list. Way too much
money to go out on a limb.

(in VA where it has thawed out -a little- and I spent last night
fighting with a corner wall cabinet and appliance garage for the
kitchen. Trust me, all of us combined don't own enough bar clamps
to get one of these things together.)
