Tuesday, May 6 MPG Luncheon Meeting
I am a founding member of the Motor Press Guild in the Los Angeles area
which meets monthly near LAX. This month's event may interest some LSR
folks. If so, I am extending a personal invitation to all that might wish to
attend. Details are below. No RSVP is required, but if asked by the folks

Import Factory Tuner Wars: Acura / Mazda / Nissan
It didn't take long for the import manufacturers to figure out there is
excitement to be had and money to be made in one of the hottest automotive
segments around -- import compact performance. Fueled by a knowledgeable
entry-level buyer with a hunger for four-cylinder power and speed, three
manufacturers are making a strong push to work with (and maybe against) the
aftermarket to provide value, performance, and style for a new generation of
muscle cars. Representatives from Acura Factory Performance, MazdaSpeed, and
Nissan's Nismo brand will be on hand to explain who they are, who they
serve, and what will happen next. Join us for an interesting panel
