Wink Eller has several issues, new motorcycle streamliner sidecar has the
rider slightly off set from the centerline of the two wheels. Wink asked to
remove the word centerline and use within the tread to clarify the rule,
discussion.

The issue was not brought up at the lakebed, the driver must sit on the dead
centerline of the two wheels, discussion. The maximum of the tread is 1 1/2 to
2 inches, Derek's tread is 2 inches, a side car should make two tracks.

The vehicle is first a streamlined motorcycle and then a side car. The vehicle
meets the streamliner rules with the exception of the skids, not required with
the side car. The tire size and tread are not limited in streamlined class.
All agreed that the vehicle meets the rules and that the position of the rider
inside is not advantage, rule to be revised next year.

.A frame class changes, Wink has received lots of phone call about the
changes, there are 12 bikes that do not have a class to run in including
Wink's bike. Wink has build five of the special construction bikes and
suggested going back to the 2002 rules. Fred suggested grandfathering in the
old bikes. Fritz Kott gave the background of the A frame bikes, some of the
changes required were left out of the 2003 Rule Book, discussion. Need to back
up to the old rules and think about how to rewrite the new rules. Mike Waters
ask is it would be possible to bet the blessing of the Board and re-write the
rules by Bonneville? Mike Waters made a motion to direct the motorcycle
committee to come up with the rules that would solve the problem, Fred
Dannenfelzer seconded. Dave commented on changing the rules by next lakes
meet, not workable. Keenan Tatro commented on not being able to run his bike
in either A or M frame classes. Dave suggested limiting class changes to three
with the same bike at Bonneville. Mike Cook wanted to let people jump classes
and take care of problem at the motorcycle meeting at Bonneville. Mike Waters
rescinded motion, Mike Cook so moved to go back to last years rules and get
consensus of motorcycle people. Mike Waters seconded motion, motion carried
unanimously.
