According to the local lore the line is a whopping 8 miles from the
intersection of Nev 372 and Nev 160. For me it is about 10 miles if I go on
the highway. Our dry lake bed is in Kalifornica and it is less than 4 miles
as the crow flies but that's a fast crow.
