I think you need a sema approved scatter shield or the 1/4 steel and I am
betting mild steel so you don't hurt when welding it.. the bell housing
while interesting if stock is merely more shrapnel to add the fray if
something breaks. if it were me I would have something to hold the trans up
and keep it from rotating as well if you have an aluminum bell housing.
The hood pins I have no clue about but easier to add them than worry about
it later.
