Yesterday I sent a nice email asking where the rule books and the reply I got
was a request for my address. Are things so screwed up that they don't even
know who is supposed to get them?

Glad to find out that the lack of rule books wasn't caused by some
geographical oddity! As the spring floods arrive here in south Texas, I
really start gettin antsy about the official rule book. Bernie called the
SCTA office the at the end of March and they said it would be three or four
weeks...

Jon's got a good point! If we gripe too much we might get the assignment of
mailing 'em out, and I sure do appreciate the volunteers that do get the job
done.

Also, this list is such a fantastic resource that I am not too anxious about
rule changes since they've pretty much been aired out here. The first year
of working on the truck and waiting for the official book was a lot more
nerve racking.

Time to start a dry assembly to check clearances... It's a sunny day for
achange, the entry form is in the mail, and life is good!
